Sample Drawings
At West Coast Steel Design, Inc., we provide comprehensive steel detailing drawings tailored to meet the specific needs of each project and fabrication partner. Our goal is to deliver precise, easy-to-understand documentation that supports smooth fabrication and erection. Our deliverables include detailed drawings for columns, beams, plan views, and erection sequences, all formatted for clarity and ease of use.
All drawings are checked for accuracy and coordination with other trades. We offer BIM collaboration when desired, allowing seamless integration with architects, engineers, contractors and framers. We deliver drawings in standard industry formats such as DWG and PDF. Sheet sizes typically range from 8″ x 11″ for parts and 11″x 17″ or 24″ x 36″ (Architectural D) for assemblies depending on the scope and complexity of the assembly.
Erection Drawing Samples
Plan views provide a clear layout of the steel framework, showing member locations, elevations grid lines, piece marks and connection detail references. Elevations and connection details complement these by illustrating structural relationships, bolted connection information and field welding requirements.
Beam Detail Samples
Detailed shop drawings for columns and beams include precise dimensions, weld details, connection specifications, and material notes. Each member is clearly labeled to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
